OUR PROJECTS                     

The body of our work is diverse in scale and in type of project. Although a dominant thread within our commissioned projects is new build for social housing, we have been equally active in other fields.

Our largest housing association project is the ‘Carlton Vale NW6’ Project which also won The Evening Standard Millennium ‘Best New Development by a Housing Association’ award for our client Genesis Housing Group in 2000.

The Practice has carried out large New Build commercial office and mixed use projects such as Utopia House, Central Street, Kingsland Road and St Johns Square.

We have had the great honour and privilege of carrying out the re-modeling and refurbishment of the South African High Commission on Trafalgar Square. This is a grade II* listed building of immense symbolic importance.

This project celebrates the threshold from Apartheid to Democracy. The works were opened by the President of South Africa, His Excellency President Thabo Mbeki in 2002.

Our most recent high esteem project has been the commission to design the prestigious Oliver Tambo Memorial jointly for the South African High Commission, the Tambo family and Haringey Council. This memorial incorporates the bronze bust of Oliver Tambo by the late Sculptor Ian Walters. The first phase of this living memorial was opened on 17 October 2007 by The First Lady of South Africa, Her Excellency Mrs Thabo Mbeki, HMG Justice Secretary Jack Straw MP and Leader of Haringey Council, Councilor George Meehan.
